A couple of us here have not upgraded from IE7, but others have. We created a new site on SharePoint 2010, and those of us with IE7 saw everything just fine. However, those with higher versions of IE had no scrollbars on the site.
The fix for us was to create a CSS class:
overflow-y: scroll; /* shows vertical scroll bar if the page is bigger than the screen */
Ten, in the Body tag of your Master page, just assign this class (ScrollBarFix) and it will take care of the problem. If you don’t want to replace the class that is already there, just add it in as a style.
